A major investment, representing a key step in GRITEC’s development and a significant boost to the region’s industrial potential, has officially begun. GRITEC s.r.o. has officially launched the construction of its new production plant in Veselí nad Moravou.
A modern 11,000 m² production hall is being built on a site covering more than 3 hectares. Thanks to its strategic location, the new plant will ensure ideal accessibility for the delivery of prefabricated buildings not only to the Czech Republic but also to foreign markets. The symbolic start of construction began with the erection of the hall’s first structural column and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.

The implementation of such a large-scale project was preceded by an intensive planning phase. “Such a major investment project was preceded by three years of demanding preparation. I would like to thank the town council for their cooperative approach, and I would also like to thank the construction company GOLDBECK and CBRE company, which is handling the project management,” said Marek Felsinger, managing director of GRITEC s.r.o.
Work on the construction site will now proceed at full speed. “We expect the plant to open and production to commence at the end of July or beginning of August next year. We now have 10 months of very hard work ahead of us,” added Petr Hanzlík, managing director of GRITEC s.r.o.
The town itself also welcomes the arrival of a stable investor. “We are delighted that such a strong international company is coming to our region and that its production plant will be located here in Veselí nad Moravou. We look forward to further and long-term cooperation,” said Tomáš Nekarda, deputy mayor of Veselí nad Moravou.
The new production plant will bring approximately 70 new jobs to the region, covering both blue-collar and technical and administrative roles.
Among the blue-collar roles, the company will be hiring, for example, concrete workers, welders, electricians, warehouse staff, crane operators, joiners, metalworkers and bricklayers. Vacancies for manual labour roles will be released gradually over the coming months.
For technical and administrative staff, roles will include site foremen, electrical foremen, sales representatives, quality managers, implementation technicians, estimators, design engineers and coordinators. Positions for site foremen, electrical foremen, cost estimators, design engineers and installation technicians are already open. The current list of vacancies is available on the gritec.cz website.
