Installation of the unique GRITEC underground transformer station in Cluj-Napoca, nearly 1,000 km away

The unique transformer station was manufactured at GRITEC s.r.o. in Prague-Malešice and delivered to the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca, located nearly 1,000 km away. The excavation was close to the road, which required reinforced excavation shoring. The station consists of two separate bodies. The installation itself took just a single day.
